Concessions Sign Up

As we have asked for the past couple of years, we need help during concessions on our tournament days.  Preferably, if you sign up on another team's tourny day, you won't miss YOUR  events/ your child's events.  There are events coming up in the next couple of weeks and I will post them separately for you. 

They are in 3 hour shifts.  So basically you work 6 hours (or find someone to work 6 hours for you - aunts/ uncles, friends, etc.) and you don't have to pay astronomical Club Vball fees that you would find yourself paying if we didn't cover our expenses by hosting these tournies.  Win - Win situation, and you know we like to Win!  :)

Girls, you can sign up to help but only 2 at a time (we cannot have all kids running the stand).  I will post each date's sign up sheet to the blog for you.  Please sign up for 2 shifts for each child you have in the program.  Thanks!

We may also look at scrimmaging during our Sun practice time sometime.  We will let parents know.

Open dates for Team Bonding

We would like to have a team bonding night.......I think to make a good team there needs to be a spirit of giving of yourself for others, so the first half of bonding will be ringing the Salvation Army bell in Marion for 2 hours.  Yes cold, but we are not wusses :).  The second thing is that we need to have a little lighthearted fun, so that we can balance that we will work their tails of at practices.....so the second half will be movie night at my house.

Please let me know if you have a Friday night free between now and Christmas.  If not, we will try for a different day.  Please answer in the comments below.

Jerseys

We need to make a decision about jerseys for the club season.  The girls showed interest in cotton tshirt or sleeveless tshirt jerseys (like middle school style) for this season, but the costs would have to come from the kids because this is a team decision not a club-wide decision.  They could be around 12-15 $ and could be whatever style and color we would want.  As always, we will not let money be an issue so if this would be difficult for you, please see me privately.  So, here is the info we would need by Wednesday of this week:
